What happened
A Russian strike hit a street in the eastern Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk on Thursday morning, 8 October, where two city buses were operating, killing at least 33 people and wounding 18, authorities and police said. Earlier reports put the toll at 30. One bus was set on fire. The regional governor accused Moscow of deliberately targeting civilians, and the city has suspended public transport.
Families in Kramatorsk are mourning people who were travelling on ordinary buses through their own city.
