About Pledge to Pray

Every day, people around the world face earthquakes, floods, wildfires, wars, hunger, disease outbreaks, and other devastating events. Often, those of us watching from far away want to help but may not know what we can do. Pledge to Pray was created to give people everywhere one simple and meaningful way to help: pray.

We believe the power of prayer brings hope, comfort, strength, and peace in moments of fear, loss, uncertainty, and suffering. Even when we are separated by thousands of miles, it gives us a way to offer strength and support to people who are hurting and remind them that they are not alone and have not been forgotten.

We bring attention to major crises, disasters, and humanitarian emergencies around the world so people can understand what happened, pledge to pray for those affected, and invite others to do the same. It’s a powerful way to stand beside and support people facing some of life’s most difficult moments and lift them up when they need it most.

Pledge to Pray is free. There is no membership fee and there is never a charge to pledge. We believe there should be no barriers to taking part. Whether the need is across the street or around the world, every prayer pledge matters.
