What happened
A Russian drone struck a park where families had gathered in Nova Vodolaha, a settlement south-west of Kharkiv in north-eastern Ukraine, on Monday, 19 October, killing six people, three of them children, and injuring 15, regional governor Oleh Syniehubov said. A café in the park was damaged. Prosecutors said the drone appeared to be a Geran-type model, and investigators have opened a war-crimes case.
Families in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region are grieving children and parents killed while spending time together in a park.
