Leftover explosive kills teenager and injures about 20 on school trip in northern Israel

What happened
A teenage boy was killed and about 20 other people were injured, some seriously, when a suspected unexploded munition went off during a school hiking trip near Israel’s border with Lebanon on Monday, 12 October, Israeli emergency services said. The Israeli military said an initial review showed it was most likely a leftover munition from the Lebanese group Hezbollah.
Students and teachers on a school trip were caught in the blast.
