Gunmen kill seven on bus carrying workers home in Syria’s Homs province

What happened
Unknown gunmen opened fire on a civilian bus carrying company employees home from work as it crossed the Masyaf bridge in western Homs province on 30 September, killing seven people and wounding four, according to the Homs Health Directorate. The attack came hours after a gas-pipeline explosion knocked out three power plants near Damascus. Security forces have opened an investigation.
Families in Homs province are mourning workers killed on their way home, and four people are being treated for their wounds.
