What happened
A suspected gas explosion destroyed a two-storey building in Athens’ historic Plaka district, beneath the Acropolis, on 25 September. Rescuers recovered six bodies from the rubble: four US citizens, a British man and his Greek wife.
Families in the United States, Britain and Greece are mourning six people killed in the blast.
